The Nonprofit Operations Workshop provides the training, tools, and resources to help you run your nonprofit effectively and efficiently. This comprehensive, year-long operations training program is custom-designed for the issues and needs of executives and operations staff of small and mid-sized nonprofit organizations.

The Nonprofit Operations Workshop includes:

  • 22 hours of classroom training from experts in their fields - HR, finance, law, and nonprofit operations.

  • 3 hours of one-on-one consulting with an expert team member.

  • Tools and templates to build and secure your organization’s operational foundation.

  • A cohort group of up to 20 people from 10 organizations to collaborate, share successes, brainstorm solutions, and discuss the changing landscape via Slack and Zoom.

  • Referrals to providers offering services to help with benefits, banking, legal, insurance, hiring, and more to make your organization more efficient and effective.

CURRICULUM

Join a cohort for eleven 2-hour sessions throughout the year. Each session includes classroom instruction and Q&A time covering topics critical to nonprofit operations:

FAQs

  • All sessions are online - no time lost in commuting. The sessions will be in the afternoon EST to accommodate students from across the country. We will adjust the draft schedule to ensure there are minimal conflicts for attendees because we know how crucial the work is that you do. Each session will last for 90 minutes, followed by an optional 30 minutes of Q&A time. Most importantly, your time investment in the Nonprofit Operations Workshop will make your organization more efficient and effective.

  • Each organization will receive three hours of consulting time to be used during their workshop attendance and up to one month after their workshop attendance ends. You will submit a consulting request and we’ll send you a calendar link to easily schedule with the corresponding team member.

  • We know it’s essential to have information available to you when you need it, so we’re happy to offer recordings of the sessions during your workshop attendance. You will only have access to the recordings for 3 months after the workshop concludes.
